A signature program of The Tech Museum of Innovation, The Tech Challenge, presented by Dell, is an annual team design competition for students in Grades 4-12 that introduces and reinforces the science and engineering process with a hands-on team project geared to solving a real-world problem. 

The Tech Challenge offers a great experience for classrooms, home schools, after-school programs and extra-credit projects. The program aligns with Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core, and it reinforces 21st-century skills including creativity, problem solving, design, teamwork, leadership, presentation, risk-taking, perseverance and learning from failure.
