Lairon College Preparatory Academy's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Lairon College Preparatory Academy's parents are very active. We are looking for new leadership. Our current leaders are exploring changing from a PTA to a PTO. Our sister school, Los Arboles has formed a PTO and we would like to follow their lead. The PTO is so much more than fundraising for school events, classroom supplies, and teacher appreciation. We will work to provide a sense of community and family involvement within the school. When you are involved, your child is involved and feels pride, ownership, participation, and community in his or her school. Stress the importance of education and community by joining the PTO and participating in events throughout the year. It is our goal to enhance the educational experience at Lairon College Preparatory Academy in any way we can. We thank you for being involved and helping to make all of this possible.

Lairon College Preparatory Academy's Monthly Cafecitos
Lairon College Preparatory Academy hosts monthly parent meetings on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 8:20am to 9:20am. We want to make time for our parents and this is the perfect opportunity to hear school updates and meet with school administration. Each month, the school administration may include guest speakers or certain topics of discussion, demonstrations, and or classes. Engage with us! We want to hear from you.
Lairon College Preparatory Academy's Site Council
The School Site Council is a decision-making body made up of parents, community representatives, and school staff members. The School Site Council's primary responsibility is to oversee the funds the school receives under the School Improvement Program (SIP) act. The funds are designed to improve student performance as measured by standardized tests, the District's State & Federal Program, and classroom performance. The Council meets once a month and dates will be announced at the beginning of the 2018-2019 school year. If you are interested in joining the School Site Council, please contact the front office.
Lairon College Preparatory Academy's Volunteer Program

To volunteer in the classroom, please contact the office to add your name to a list that is provided to the district. Fingerprints will be required in order to volunteer in a classroom.
